&nbsp; <h1>Steps to Career Exploration</h1> Step #1 - Self-Assessment - A career assessment is a quiz that you can take to determine a fitting major or career. The assessment consists of a series of questions, usually multiple choice. It asks you about your personality, values, interests and goals. Your results recommend various career paths based on your answers. Below is a Self-Assessment provided by the "BigFuture" College Board.&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/career-search/career-quiz"><img role="presentation" src="https://nc01910393.schoolwires.net/cms/lib/NC01910393/Centricity/Domain/11845/BP Career Assessment.PNG" alt="" width="150" height="86"/></a> &nbsp; Step #2 - Identify Possible Careers - You will receive a list of careers based on your self-assessment. Select the career(s) that matches your interests. &nbsp; Step #3 - Do your research - After you select your list of careers, use the <a href="https://nccareers.org/occupation-profile?field_area_target_id_1=1284">NC Occupations</a> search engine to learn more about the careers you selected.
